Challenge

Design a discovery experience that helps users find their perfect vacation from thousands of properties across different brands, locations, and price points.

Key Considerations:

  • 20+ million travelers annually

  • Global vacation marketplace across multiple brands

  • Complex booking flows simplified for mobile-first experience

My role:
As Product Designer for the mobile experience, I led the redesign of vacation discovery and booking flows across iOS and Android platforms. I worked closely with brand managers, engineering teams, and stakeholders to create unified experiences that honored brand distinctions while simplifying user decision-making.

Impact

Unified multi-brand experience

Mobile app designs were used as a foundation for the desktop experience and platform redesign. The new design is flexible enough for brand partnerships.

A more accessible app

Business leadership worried that many of our customers were long time club ownership members and the assumption was that they would not be able to handle large changes to the UI. I was able to show that WCAG 2.1 compliance was achievable.
