When I joined as founding product designer, the business needed to evolve from a niche journalist directory into a scalable, all-in-one platform.
Over four years, I scaled the product into an enterprise platform serving global brands, established the design function, and built our first design system. My work directly supported ARR growth from $21M to $50M and contributed to a $180M Series A.

Challenge
Muck Rack aspired to become an all-in-one platform, but the product lacked standardized UX patterns, automation, and scalability. Customer surveys found that: 64% reported they couldn’t quantify their PR results, and 71% identified measuring impact as their biggest challenge.

Research: Conducted JTBD interviews and contextual inquiries to map workflow pain points.
Design: Developed low-fidelity flows, tested with alpha users, iterated to improve usability.
Scale: Launched first design system to enforce UI consistency and accelerate delivery.
Collaborate: Worked close with PM and Engineering to prioritize features, hold design reviews, and demo dashboards to leadership.

Unified Dashboard with Contextual Editing: Customizable workspace; inline editing (spreadsheet familiar); real-time collaboration.
Outcome: eliminated external spreadsheets, cut tool-switching.
